I'm not entirely sure if the same options are available with ps4 or any of xbox consoles. This can also be used on PlayStation 3 instead of the pc. It allows you to use either a PlayStation 1 ps1, PlayStation 2 ps2 xbox or game cube on computer. I used a ps1 controller with this on the ps3 to play games final fantasy vii and worked great.
This did not require a driver download for myself, but if one is needed, it can be downloaded on the net. I googled for it and found multiple free options the driver.
